While there’s a real love for timeless Old Hollywood glamour within wedding styling, Sheena Quinn, Stylist of Boris and Betty commented “brides are embracing the decadent elegance of the 1930’s within their wedding styling. The idea behind the shoot was to bring to life two very different styled approaches, both showcasing the early 1930’s deco era using our own, plus some very special collaborators’ talents to inspire brides on how this glorious era could be interpreted with different style approaches".
The first set, a ‘by day’ approach, against a back drop of lace and the detail of the Victorian windows embraces the elegance and serenity of a lady at tea. Using plenty of natural daylight and a light ethereal colour palette, with hues of china and cornflower blues, we created a relaxed and beautiful photo story. Understated, yet truly lovely.
Area 2 reflects the razzmatazz and bright lights of Hollywood in it’s hey day, post prohibition. With a more opulent colour palette of gold and bronze, alongside luxe fabrics. This styling has all the dazzle of Old Hollywood. Release your inner Bette Davis for a wedding with glitz and glamour.
